Four Ways To Get Creative At Home With Skinny Food Syrup

In collaboration with The Skinny Food Co

I hope you had a lovely Easter weekend!

Although it was a different Easter than usual, it was still the perfect excuse to spend time in the kitchen. But, it doesn’t need to stop there…

Working from home means we all have a little more time on our hands to get creative and the thing to start experimenting with is The Skinny Food Co's Easter Cream #NotGuilty Zero Calorie Sugar Free Syrup. If you love chocolate goodies, then you will LOVE this. It's fat free, sugar free and tastes incredible!

Here are a few of my favourite ways to use their Easter Cream and if you have enough time, you can try them all...

Loaded Easter Pancakes

We all love a bit of indulgence and this is the perfect way to start the week. Try their pancake mix with some sliced banana on top and then drizzle the syrup to your hearts content. If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, you could always top with their Chocaholic Chocolate Hazelnut Spread to recreate the Cadbury treat we love so much.

Breakfast of Champions

Get your day off to an excellent start by using the syrup to sweeten your morning porridge. My favourite topping is some fresh strawberries and a couple of pieces of low-sugar chocolate. Best of all? Oats are a great start to the morning as they're a gluten-free whole grain and a great source of vital vitamins, minerals, fibre and antioxidants.

Low-sugar Freakshake

Almost everyone loves chocolate, and this is a delicious way to use some of your left-over Easter eggs. Try melting some of the chocolate and mixing with milk then topping with a light spray cream and a drizzle of the Easter Cream Syrup. If you’ve eaten your eggs, you can always substitute with their Chocaholic Chocolate Hazelnut Spread…

Easter Buns

Hot cross buns are a great afternoon treat but once you’ve added the butter and jam, the sugar can begin to pile up. After a weekend of heavy chocolate eating, many people are looking for a lighter option, so try using the syrup to sweeten them instead! Toasted or fresh, it works either way. Bonus points if you’ve made the buns from scratch!

Hopefully this will help keep you busy in the coming weeks and if you try any of them, I would love to see!

Stay home and keep safe!
