Very Berry Muesli

After a heavy weekend of indulging, most of us are looking to return to some slight normality - and what better way to start than with breakfast? This healthy muesli recipe is perfect for busy mornings, can be made in advance and stored for up to a month in an airtight container. But, I doubt it will last that long.
Oats can help to lower blood pressure and reduce bad cholesterol, along with being packed with vitamins, minerals and fibre. Plus, for fitness fanatics, having a portion of oats an hour and a half before exercise ensures blood sugar levels remain steady through your workout, while providing enough energy to keep you going. They are a true superfood and far more affordable than the likes of quinoa and spirulina.
Serves 2
Ingredients
- 100g jumbo rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pack of Evolved Strawberry & Blueberry
- Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
- 2 handfuls of mixed seeds
- 1 handful of raisins
- Almond milk to serve
Method
1) Measure all the ingredients into a bowl and mix well, before serving with almond milk or storing in an airtight container.
2) Any heavier ingredients are likely to sink to the bottom when stored so make sure you give them a good stir or shake before using.
My favourite way to enjoy this yummy bowl is with some sliced banana as a topping - but it’s completely up to you if you want to add anything!
